About Liopetri
Liopetri is a lovely rural town dotted by surrounding farm land, which produces most of the local fruits and vegetables that make their way to everyones tables.
Liopetri is a 5 minute walk where you will find all of your essential amenities, plus a selection of restaurants and tavernas. The nearest bank with cash machine is a 5 minute walk into the village, which also has a bakery, supermarket, fast food outlet, restaurant, bar, betting shop, clothes shops, chemist and church.
Up the road is Macronnissis and Ayia Thekla beach (this is a blue flag beach with a lifeguard) with white sands and clear warm water, no, waves and perfect for children to swim. A two minute drive along the coast brings you to the famous Nissi Beach, with music playing in the beach bars, water sports, bungee jumping, and one of the best beaches in Cyprus. A ten minute drive into the diverse town of Ayia Napa, offers two different worlds; quiet, relaxing, sun kissed beach days during the day time, and the electric party atmosphere of the night time.
Famagusta District
Famagusta is ideally located near Larnaca airport, around 40 minutes. It is generally an all year round excellent climate. If it is a lively night you want, then the bustling resort of Ayia napa is only a 10 minute drive away with its exciting nightlife and over a 1000 bars, clubs, and restaurants. Ayia Napa is well worth a visit and caters for all ages. However if it is a quiet holiday you want then you needn't move from the villa.
Cyprus has 340 days of sunshine each year, with a hot summer and mild winters (it was 83 degrees in Oct when we were there). In the winter months you can go skiing and the drive back to the apartment sunbathe. English is widely spoken with English shops such as Topshop, Zara, Debenhams and M&S. If you like walking, cycling, just relaxing Cyprus has it all.

Nicosia Take a drive and explore?
Drive up to the Troodos and go to Mt Olympus, the views are simply breathtaking. Troodos mountains have skiing between January and March, on the mountain Mt Olympus. The little mountain villages offer all sorts of different experiences from wine tasting and dancing to simply sitting down for a meal and enjoying the local way of life. Walk along the Ayia Napa strip, or visit the harbour and take a boat trip to see the deserted city of Famagusta, do some diving or swimming then chill out whilst the captain serves lunch. There is so much to do you simply cannot list it all, try Cyprus and have a great holiday, and the one thing you're certain to do is, come back again.

For the more adventurous who want to explore, go to Nicosia the only city in the world which is split by two countries. Viewing points allow you to see the Turkish and the Cypriot sides of the divided city together. Now, you can even cross the border on foot and dine and drink in the other side of Cyprus, as long as you take your passport to get across the border. The large municipal town of Paralimni with its ever growing range of diverse boutiques, supermarkets and shops make an enjoyable day out shopping or Cafe' hopping.
